BYOC v1.5... for Gzdoom?!
A new version with Gzdoom support has been made, so you can play BYOC using fancier mods like Corruption Cards as well as MBF-21 & Gzdoom mapsets!
Currently Experimental
BYOC for GZDoom is experimental and there could be bugs that we haven't found, so PLEASE report any bugs and especially any crashes you find.
We also can't guarantee the mod will work with GZDOOM when Online, so try that at your own risk.
GZDoom Update frequency
If needed, we'll make minor updates to fix bugs, but when new characters pop up on BYOC for Zandronum, it might take a while for them to come out. If you want to help us out in the future, do let us know, since we'd appreciate the help porting and testing!
Changes from Zandronum BYOC v1.5
- Hats have been disabled, due to them blocking the player's view unlike Zandronum
- Selfie camera has also been disabled as a result
- Summons adjusted to fit GZDoom's way of checking for friendly fire
- Zscript now handles on hit events, instead of zandronum exclusive acs functions

found another one, Noise's Slot 6 alternate fire never has an end time they just attack things forever, they never explode like they should
i found a bug, when an attack from Quote hits an enemy AND he has the rocket launcher in his inventory, even if its a DIFFERNT Weapon, the text "Result Condition: 1" appears, it doesn't affects gameplay just a visual thing, just making sure yall know.

i found a sound bug and crash with gunbonsai
I'm kind of checking this version and haven't noticed any bugs yet. To tell the truth, it would be nice to adapt the Mod to Other IWAD's. "The Ultimate DOOM" seems to support it normally. "Freedoom 1 & 2" too. But in "Chex Quest" there are problems with textures and weapons are not selected during selection (The Sprite is also Standard). But they still make Levels for this Game. I wanted to play for Fred Chester on Mapsets, but it's not comfortable to play because of such problems.
The textures is only visuals on the intro, but I've taken the time to make all the pickups be supported for byoc.
