BYOC Zandronum v2.0!!!

Major Update Time!!! 11 New Classes!!!

--------------------General changes---------------------

  • Pickup hitbox sizes fixed to be the same size as regular dooms
  • BUY button removed. USE does everything BUY did.
  • A Proper test map! You can enter it by selecting it in the episode select or by typing “map byoctest” in the console
  • Particles that appear for special pickups
  • Info screens for each class.
  • More Cosmetics and new Pets cosmetic options! 
  • Removed annoying blue text on weapon pickups for specific classes, its been replaced with the usual yellow text.
  • New hint system
    • Can globally shut it off
    • Can shut it down per character with the new menu!
  • New pistol start option! Launch with "sv_byocpistolstart 1" to reset to the default loadout on map end for each class and up the challenge!

------------------New Characters---------------------

  • Spamton: A shady businessman who uses a fluctuating market to charge up his attacks and provide players with warez.
  • Cray: A wild chimera who has a lot of deadly arms to choose from. These arms come equipped with powerful altfires too!
  • Spy: Returning from old betas, Spy has returned to cause mayhem, granted he has enough BUNKS to do so. 
  • Doot: Returning from old betas, DOOT is here to serenade demons to death with his newly polished musical weapons.
  • Anton: Returning from old betas, Anton has been given a completely new look and playstyle. Become destruction incarnate as you slam into monsters and objects that you can deploy to cause mayhem!
  • Spot Soldier: A soldier with reloadable weapons and a shoulder mounted turret to inflict focused destruction onto demons!
  • .Indie gal: Cyborg with an arm that can utilize attacks from 1 of 24 indie games!
  • Warglock: A wizard of war who combines guns and magic! Use both at a time to achieve mastery!
  • Raven: A smaller Armored core unit specialized for dealing with the local demon threat. Use powerful attacks and manage heat to uphold the raven name!
  • Wad-Chan: A wad of gum who can utilize a variety of buffs to help the team gain the upper hand!
  • Remix classes have been added
    • PIG as PTG Remix has been added

------------------Remix Characters--------------------

Remix characters are classes based on their original counterparts. When playing Survival Coop, you can change between the original and remixed versions of the same class without losing your weapons and progress between lives. It’s a good way to save on space and work while still bringing something new to the mod!

PIG (PTG skin)

A defense & close range oriented version of PTG

Fart ability replaced by spawning a pig farm

After spawning 8 pigs, your farm levels up

Pig Farm gains a small healing radius when at level 2

Farting when it’s already out removes ALL farm pigs in the field

50% faster movement (from 40% to 60% base speed)

40% slower meter regen

RELOAD consumed 35% less meter

Vomit doesn’t leave mini pigs

Beers have gravity, becoming close ranged

Rage (tier 3 fire) goes from a flurry of punches to a single, big punch

The single punch refunds most of its cost when connected

Punch deals 600 damage and pushes its target far away

Punch deals 100 explosive damage similar to melty man haymaker

Laser beam (tier 4 fire) goes from a single shot to a flurry of mid ranged shots (to avoid frame drops)

Flurry depletes in the same way the original PTG rage would

Connecting beams refunds flurry meter like rage punches would

No extra speed or defense received

Golden god has faster stomps but lower damage, averaging to the same dps

This is to match the speed increase

Revenant

  • Flamethrower flame collision on bosses no longer damages friendlies
  • Only 2 dashes (from 3)
  • Dashes take longer to recharge
  • Speed increased to 60% (from 50%)
  • Increased spread when using both flamethrowers
  • Chainsaw makes single cannon shots home into enemies.

Doom Slayer

  • Rocket launcher self damage increased (from 40 to 100)
  • added trails to some projectiles

Devil Marine

  • Inferno Gatling shot now deals 8 damage to bosses (from 1)
  • Unmaker effects lowered for spread shots to improve framerates
  • Devil Marine Pickups are only visible to him
  • Pistol Speed fire cost reduced (from 3 per burst to 1 per burst)
  • Pistol Fire damage reduced (from 6 to 3)
  • Pistol Speed fire damage reduced (from 4 to 2)
  • Pistol fire rate for both modes increased (removed 2 tics)
  • BFG punch range increased (from 30 to 45)
  • BFG final punch range increased (From 50 to 70)

Peppino

  • Charged revolver damage lowered to an intentional value (from 210 to 150)
  • Shotgun vertical spread reduced (from 7 to 4)
  • Uncharged Shotgun horizontal spread reduced (from 7 to 5) 
  • Charged Shotgun horizontal spread reduced (from 7 to 6) 
  • Pizzaface damage small damage reduction (from 19 to 18 per tic) 

Stupid Rat

  • Can Dance with RELOAD 

Pizza Tower Guy

  • Fart takes longer to come out when at Tier 1
  • Fart consumes more meter
  • Meter regen rate slightly slowed down
  • Hitting beer bottles increases meter

Doise

  • Chainsaw has a sound effect when an enemy is launched.

Bob & bob 

  • Full rework:
    • Each bob can hold one weapon each
    • Picking up a weapon also stores a card of it
    • Involvement in any kill makes enemies drop money
    • Every 2 cards collected increases the money from money stashes by 1
    • The Super (RELOAD) and Melee (ALTFIRE) now depends on the bob weapon slot
    • Zoom no longer makes the bobs dodge
    • Zoom with a weapon to drop it
    • Zoom without a weapon and $100 to roll for a card weapon
    • Only the bobs can see and pick up the money

Melty Man

  • Starts with no rage meter (from 50%)
  • Throwables now alert monsters 

Serious Sam

  • Cannonball capacity reduced (from 20 to 15)
  • Knife damage increased (from 90 to 100)

Serious Sam 4

  • Minor Rework
    • Held weapons affect movement speed
    • Knife, Deagle, Shotgun, and C4 let you move at normal speed
    • Coachgun, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and Grenade Launcher reduce movement speed by 20%
    • Minigun, Lasergun, autoshotgun, and Cannon reduce movement speed by 40%
    • Loading extra rockets further decreases movement speed.
  • Homing rockets deal less impact damage (from 100 to 80)
  • Homing rockets deal less radius damage (from 100 to 80)

Chex Warrior

  • Health Increased (from 100 to 125)
  • Speed decreased (from 100% to 90%)
  • Gravity reduced (from 100% to 80%)
  • Every time he’s hurt he drops a 1hp waffle
  • When below 50 health, he’ll bleed out healing chex snacks slowly
  • Spread reduced on shotguns
  • Fixed Flemoids despawning when jar of flem’s thrown into a wall
  • Damage on most weapons reduced by 10%
    • -Rocket launcher damage unchanged

Heavy

  • Fixed sandvich alt fire not taking 100 sandvich ammo
  • Armor will drain when over 100
  • Dropped Sandvich now returns 100 sandvich ammo to match throw
  • Sandvich and Ammo box will let the player know when they’re available
  • Beggar bazooka self damage increased (from 50 to 100)
  • Beggar bazooka explosive damage is now the same either indirect or direct (at 190 damage max + ~100 direct damage)

Marco

  • Health lowered (from 100 to 50hp)
  • Overhealth lowered (from 200 to 100hp)
  • Now starts with 50 armor
  • Armor now absorbs 100% of all damage
  • PTG can now pick up the gas can for meter
  • Shotgun fire rate reduced when holding fire
  • Heavy machine gun ammo reduced (from 150/300 to 100/200)
  • Heavy machine gun bullet damage reduced (from 15 to 12)
  • Lasergun damage per tic increased (from 15 to 17)
  • Enemy chaser self damage increased (from 0 to 100)
  • Grenade self damage increased (from 0 to 70)
  • Iron lizard self damage increased (from 0 to 120)
  • Metal Slug Vehicle no longer uses Doom armor, instead having its own health
  • Metal Slug Vehicle now lets you grab armor pickups while riding it
  • Metal Slug Vehicle health reduced (from 300 to 250)
  • Metal Slug Kamikaze damage radius increased (from 128 to 256) 
  • Reward cooldown properly displayed in HUD
  • Reward is now obtained by dealing damage
  • Pistol’s unique reward gain reduced (from 4% to 2%)

Moorhuhn

  • Cannonball self damage increased (from 0 to 100)
  • Cannonball explosive damage increased (from 196 to 220)
  • Kuerbiskannone (Plasma) can now use Zoom to refund ammo
  • Pandora pill projectile speed increase (from 10 to 13 units)
  • Hammer Damage increase (from 60 to 70)

Morshu

  • Deku Nut stun time reduced
  • Shops have a rework


    • Shops are no longer unlocked with weapons, but now are unlocked with rupees,
    • Press Altfire on any weapon opens up a menu to select your shop. 
    • Hold the movement keys to select a shop, firing while holding the movement key will select the shop, or attempt to unlock it
    • Press Altfire again will close the shop menu.
    • Press fire without holding a movement key will return you to your last used weapon.

Niko

  • Pancake projectiles gives less meter (from 25 to 10)
  • Pancake normal attack deals less damage (from 80 to 75)
  • Pancakes alt fire now heal Niko
  • Gives health instantly rather than overtime
  • Healing amount reduced (from 50 to 25)
  • Hatchet hits give 30 meter (from 5)
  • Clipper damage increased (from 40 to 50)
  • Clipper hits give 45 meter (from 7)
  • Scissor fire rate reduced
  • Scissors overall damage reduced (from 25 to 20)
  • Scissors gains less meter (from 12 to 4)
  • Scissors stuns less
  • Green armor cap is halved (from 100 to 50)
  • Blue armor cap is halved (from 200 to 100)

Quote

  • Level 3 rocket ammo cost reduced (from 3 to 1)
  • Quote rockets self damage increased (From 0 to 40)
  • Backpacks only give a missile upgrade once per map
  • Spur can now damage bosses
  • Reduced amount of EXP given when using level 2 blade (from 2-4 to 1)
  • Level 3 blade no longer drops EXP
  • Taunts are changed 

Rayman

  • Green armor cap is halved (from 100 to 50)
  • Blue armor cap is halved (from 200 to 100)
  • Plasma charged projectile no longer goes through enemies
  • Plasma charged projectile deals 50 direct damage
  • Rocket rodeo projectile self damage increased ( from 0 to 128 )

Sir Daniel Fortesque

  • Nerfed dan's bow alt and made the fire effect deal fire damage properly
  • Changed how dash attack works
  • Dash attack can be used on all weapons
  • Added trails to some projectiles
  • Nerfed healing from chicken pickups from 25 to 5
  • Berserk now affects the shield bash damage
  • Club damage changed from 30 contact and 30 splash to 40 contact and 10 splash

Postal Dude

  • Reduced petition rage damage multiplier (from x4 to x2)

Ash Williams

  • Dynamite self damage increased (from 40 to 70)
  • Flamethrower range reduced by 30% percent
  • Grenade launcher self damage increased (from 30 to 100)

Homer Simpson

  • Shooting beer with your gun alerts monsters
  • Lowered Volume on BFG’s TV
  • TV Duration lowered by 20%
  • TV projectiles damage lowered (from 75 to 55)
  • TV projectiles have been made painless to monsters
  • Butterfinger startup significantly decreased
  • Butterfinger now gives 5 EX on hit (from 3)
  • Beer healing halved
  • Holding Altfire with the beer no longer spawns props repeatedly
  • Beer can only overheal to 125hp  (from 150hp)
  • Bat gains more meter per hit (from 1 to 3)
  • Bat costs more meter (from 5 to 10)
  • Bat first 7 hits are stronger (from 8 to 10)
  • Bowling ball normal attack firerate reduced
  • Bowling ball now deals 70 damage even at point blank enemies 
  • Bowling ball normal attack now continues rolling through 30 hp monsters
  • Bowling ball altfire now continues rolling through 60hp monsters
  • Makeup gun alt fire attack now requires 35 EX (from 25)
  • Makeup gun normal attack firerate slightly reduced
  • Makeup gun normal attack pellet damage reduced (from 20d3 to 15d3)
  • Homer Revolver damage reduced (from 80 to 60)
  • Homer revolver ammo per shot reduced (from 6 to 5 clip ammo)
  • Homer revolver firerate slightly reduced
  • Homer Milkshake self damage added (from 0 to 25)
  • Homer Milkshake explosive radius reduced (from 300 to 200)
  • Donut attack startup greatly reduced

AVGN

  • Beer dropped with RELOAD gives PTG meter
  • Beer heals lowered (from 10HP to 5HP)
  • Laserscope fire volume decreased, now you can hear the cursing

JDG

  • Ducky self damage increased (from 50 to 120)
  • First 2 middle fingers do less damage (from 50 to 40)
  • Last middle finger deals more damage (from 50 to 80)

Pico

  • Aerosol flame collision on bosses no longer damages friendlies

Trollface

  • Oil no longer damages friendlies
  • Oil now helps PTG charge meter
  • Explosive cat self damage increased (from 75 to 120)
  • Spinning cat now has aura of ammo boxes flying around it to indicate it gives ammo

Arti

  • Sophia blaster self damage increased (from 20 to 50)

Telos

  • Vic Viper gives less LASER per Altfire (from 10 to 8)
  • Vic Viper missile damage changed (from 15d8 to 60)
  • Vic Viper now correctly gives 20 clip ammo on pickup

Killer46

  • Green armor cap is halved (from 100 to 50)
  • Blue armor cap is halved (from 200 to 100)
  • Meter takes longer to start depleting after dealing no damage (from 4 to 8 seconds)]
  • Meter now properly takes longer to drain after dealing no damage when full (from 4 to 16 seconds)
  • Raijin Cannon Altfire projectile no longer grants Super nensho charge when missing enemies
  • Raijin Cannon Altfire projectile gives less charge on hit (from 70% to 30%)
  • Raijin Cannon Altfire Startup now grants 40% charge

Gammu

  • Kick is no longer silent
  • Charged Lightning damage greatly reduced (from 800 to 400)
  • Uncharged Fire orb firing speed greatly increased 
  • Uncharged Fire orb projectile direct damage reduced (from 15 to 10)
  • Each uncharged fire orb now deals damage overtime (from 0 to 10)
    • Uncharged fire orb projectiles deal 20 damage to bosses directly instead
  • Charged Fire orb projectile speed increased (from 60 to 100)
  • Charged Fire orb projectile direct damage reduced (from 100 to 75)
  • Charged fire orb now deals damage overtime quickly ( from 0 to 50)
    • Charged fire orb projectiles deal 115 direct damage to bosses directly instead
  • Poison puddle no longer stuns enemies
  • Poison puddle damage radius reduced to match graphic (from 150 to 128)
  • Uncharged Poison projectile speed reduced ( from 70 to 50)
  • Uncharged poison projectile gravity increased (from 1.0 to 1.4)
  • Delay before shooting doom orb is twice as long
  • Stuck standing still for 3 seconds casting the nuke
  • When nuke is in cooldown, dealing damage speeds up its recovery
  • Nuke Epicenter (160 unit) has 4000 damage, but it immediately drops off to 1000 and lower afterwards
  • Nuke Range is lowered (from 1400 to 700)

Kyuteru

  • Health increased: 125
  • Damage reduced by 20%
  • Speed reduced: 80% (Melee to move normal)
  • Aura meter charges twice as fast
  • Using the heal zone (RELOAD) gives kyuteru 50% damage reduction
  • Added a kyuteru hud icon for when the player is being healed or buffed by her

Lother

  • Famas altfire self damage increased (from 0 to 100)
  • Rocket lawncher self damage increased (To 150)

Gun Garth

  • Cob launcher self damage increased (from 25 to 75)
  • Paint Brush has been enhanced and now shows up on other’s screens in multiplayer

Bandit Bowie

  • Shotgun spread tightened and deals more damage
  • Chaingun AOE range increased
  • Plasma Pickup gives more ammo (from 5 to 25)

Codsworth

  • Lid Explosive projectile self damage increased (from 25 to 75)
  • Corpse can be eaten, gives a medikit pickup (so special class pickups get treated properly)
  • Fixed invisible frame to death state
  • Extra windup for fist altfire
  • New Voice and Some extra sounds

Mobster Matt

  • Faster weapon switch speed
  • Molotov no longer damages friendlies
  • Dashing with the Car now properly gives 50% damage resistance
  • Dashing with car produces an audible Armor sound
  • Stopping a car dash produces an audible sound

Stickguy

  • BFG has a new select animation
  • BFG pickup now gives ammo
  • fixed death animations

Sheriff Gumboald

  • Increased mobility (from 105% to 110%)
  • Spit rock fragment self damage increased ( 2 per tic, from 0 )
  • Rage effect has been changed
    • Is now an aura effect that buffs everyone’s attack by 50%
  • Gains gumbo spices 20% faster
  • Gumbo now gives PTG meter
  • Gumbo gives much less HP (from 25 to 5)
  • Gumbo costs much less to use (from 100 spices to 20 spices)
  • Spit Rock normal attack damage reduced by 10%
  • Revolver normal attack damage reduced (from 15 to 14)
  • Revolver altfire damage reduced from 20 to 18
  • Musket shotgun normal attack pellet damage reduced from 9 to 8
  • Rifle Quick Burst damage reduced from 15d3 to 13d3 damage
  • Rifle Alt fire projectile damage increased (from 7d3 to 8d3)
  • Spit Rock altfire direct damage reduced (from 70 to 35)
  • Lantern bug pellet damage reduced (from 12 to 11)
  • Lantern bug pellet meter gain increased (from 3 to 5)
  • Learning book initial big punch now has 20 damage explosion on enemy impact
  • Learning book projectile damage increased (from 7d8 to 9d8)
  • Learning book projectiles meter increase halved
  • Learning book alt fire changed
    • Now shoots 11 fist projectiles in a wide cone spread
  • Shooting poisoned enemies doubles rage meter
  • Lil Paul damage per tic reduced (from 36 to 32)
  • Green armor cap is halved (from 100 to 50)

  • Removed Banjo Melee Attack

hell yeah, new update for bring your own class, I hope they add Walter Withe in the future (I say this not ironically)

Oh my peak

when im trying to play ptg remix, i get kicked for "user info change flood", any way to fix this?

Please use sv_limitcommands 0 while hosting a server. The next Zandronum 3.2 beta (or release) will allow for more user commands to avoid the flood.
